🌿 Souss Massa National Park 🌿 During our time in Agadir, Morocco, we took a trip to the Souss Massa National Park. Here is some information about the National Park: The Souss Massa National Park, located near Agadir, is a biodiverse haven with diverse ecosystems spanning 33,800 hectares. Established in 1991, it aims to protect the region's unique flora and fauna. 🍃 The park is renowned for hosting over 250 migratory bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, guided tours, and educational programs, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts exploring Morocco's natural beauty. 📸 Since we didn't have an SUV, we opted to take the walking trail. It was a 3 km long loop, and we paid 70 Dirhams per person for it. One day, during our trip in Thailand, we embarked on a journey to the heart of northern Thailand's natural wonders and landmarks 🚌 💦 Starting this bus ride from Chiang Mai, our first stop was the breathtaking Wachirathan waterfall, where the cool mist and cascading streams got us really wet (but I didn’t get any photos because I wanted my camera to stay safe). ⛪️ Next, we ascended to the highest spot in Thailand and trekked the Ang Ka nature trail. The highlight of the trip was the majestic Doi Inthanon summit with its beautiful garden and where the twin pagodas stood tall against the (on this day very misty and rainy) sky. 🌿 After a mouthwatering authentic lunch, we went on a challenging hike through rugged terrain and past various smaller waterfalls. Along the way, we glimpsed traditional rice paddies and ended the hike at a village of an old Thai community where our guide grew up. We rested in the small village before boarding the minibus for the long journey back to Chiang Mai. Lost in the labyrinthine streets of Chiang Mai, I stumbled upon many photogenic gems – but my favourite temple, Wat Pha Lat, is located outside of the city. It looks like a magical place tucked away from the tourist crowds 🌿 Let me tell you – the real magic lies in exploring the lesser-known corners and unearthing the hidden beauty that awaits.
